Welcome to The Sewing Shop, Tailoring & Alterations Specialists.After 20 years of working from the shop location in Rodbourne Road, Swindon, I have had the privilege and delight (most of the time) if working with private and commercial clients with the help of my team.
My team have now all retired and I have made the decision to close the shop and work from home (which is nearby to where the shop was). I am still offering all my clients a high quality specialist Tailoring, Alteration and general repair service.

Took my motorcycle jacket in to be repaired, the lady was lovely and did an excellent job for a great price. Highly recommended & will most certainly do business again if any repairs need doing in the future!
The owner of this shop is very knowledgeable & helpful. I had some beautiful material that I wanted made into a dress. They weren't able to do this in the time before my holiday to India but spent time going through patterns with me & advised on what to ask for at tailors in India. Really helpful.
I have recently lost a lot of weight & had also collected various pieces of vintage clothing which, I wanted fitted to me. The sewing shop has been absolutely marvelous in doing all the jobs for me, to such a high standard. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone. A great service, at a great price. The lady is also very knowledgeable.
